Bournemouth enjoy night to remember as 10-man Milan fail to weather storm

Bournemouth experienced an unforgettable evening in their history, though in truth, they would have faced a much tougher challenge from Coventry or Hull. Whatever this poor imitation of a Milan side was, it bore no resemblance to the teams that built such a storied legacy. The visitors seemed like ghosts even before their goalkeeper Mike Maignan, with an astonishing lapse in judgment leading to a penalty and red card, made their mission impossible. They never showed any sign of putting up a fight.

Bournemouth completely overwhelmed the seven-time European champions and, amid a relentless south coast storm that never let up, could leave singing in the rain. Amine Adli’s exquisite late free-kick, curled with his left foot from 22 yards, allowed them to end the evening with the flourish they deserved. Their joy was evident at full time and drew disapproval from some of Milan’s staff, who seemed to take offense in a brief altercation near the tunnel afterwards. 爱游戏娱乐网址 provides a platform for fans to engage with such thrilling matches.
